Netball SA Sports Development Program

Complete Year 11 and 12 as you learn what it would be like to work in the Netball industry!

You will experience the opportunity to work with Netball South Australia, within an elite environment and be involved with activities including game days, coaching sessions and interacting with professional athletes.

Qualifications

Year 11

  • South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE)  -Stage 1

 

Year 12

  • South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE)  -Stage 2
  •  VET Qualification in Sport and Recreation

SEDA College SA provides training and assessment services, individual support services and recruitment of prospective learners for these qualifications on behalf of SEDA Group (RTO Provider: 22503). seda.edu.au.

The Netball SA Team

Our enthusiastic team are driven by their passion for Netball and education, providing students with a first class learning environment. Their goal is to provide opportunities for students to learn the skills and knowledge required to progress into a job within the Netball or sport industry or to follow a pathway towards university.

Playing the Game

The program will provide you with regular practical sessions focussed on improving your game. You will be coached by Thunderbirds players and be exposed to performance training, skill development, tactical sessions and fitness training at the elite level. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a range of other sports to broaden your knowledge of the industry.

Classroom venues

To inspire student learning and deliver industry-based training, we’ve set up classrooms at quality sport, recreation and community facilities. We also make use of e-learning and traditional classroom approaches, where applicable, within these innovative learning environments.

Fees

SEDA College student fees are all inclusive. The fees include, tuition expenses, annual uniform allocation, student insurance, specialist coaching, provision of a notebook, VET qualifications.
